"I'm fragile and docile and I show no interest in violence," Chasingkit mewed, following beside the deputy with observant icy blue eyes. The young she-cat was a few moons older now, being five moons, she only has one moon before she'll officially become a medicine cat apprentice.

Chasingkit bounded after Clairvoyance towards the exit of camp, feeling the dry breeze in her short fur. The slender-framed feline showed grace in her strides as she looked around the seemingly familiar desert.

Chasingkit smiled and nodded, getting up to her paws. She wasn't the annoying type of kit. She was quiet, shy, open-hearted, and brave. But not annoying.

Chasingkit sat around camp, bored. The pale ginger tabby sighed as the dry wind ruffled up her fur. She didn't bother to lick it back down as she was too bored and idle to do anything about it. Her pale green gaze were fixed on her paws as she studied them closely. The short-furred kit smiled to herself, extending one claw at a time to study their features. She closed her eyes for a moment, blocking out all activity in camp.
Chasingkit was sprinting in a field, crisp golden grass tickling her belly as she soared across the meadow. She loved that feeling in her fur, the wind wisping through it, tickling the insides of her ears. The long-legged she-cat saw a beautiful pack a butterflies heading her way. She leaped upwards, paws outstretched but with claws still sheathed. She caught a butterfly in her soft pink paw pads. She caressed it, studying it's wings. She then let the butterfly go, flying after it's large family. Chasingkit smiled as the butterfly went.
She awoke, her eyes fluttering. The activity that was going on was settling in again as she sighed. Considering there was nothing to do since she was a kit, she was bored once more. It was like depression except it wasn't a mental disturbance or accompanied by feelings of hopelessness and inadequacy. Her tail wrapped around her white speckled paws. Would she ever get to go out of camp?
