So I was just wondering what the restrictions were on language here... As we all know I have colorful vocabulary and was curious as to what extent I could use it

Switchingpaw had to lengthen his stride to keep up. "Sure. I know cactus, and tumbleweed and flower." he mewed, naming random plants to show he didn't really know many herbs. "What would happen if somebody's tail got bitten off! Or their ear! Is it hard to heal? Do you like fixing gorey wounds? What's the bloodiest most grossest thing you've ever seen? Do you know how to fight and hunt? What if you were secretely a third tier and you just doubled up as a medicine cat to disguise your murderous plans to take over BloodClan!" Switch bombarded Mossfire with questions, clearly having moved on from such a boring topic as herbs. He was young and impatient, only wanting to learn the things that really interested him, as most young ones did. And clearly, judging by his interrogation, that list was quite long and random.

Switchingpaw flicked an ear irritably at Cougarbite's order, since it had destroyed his game. Instead he took off after Mossfire at a rocking lope, slowing and falling into step next to the bigger cat. "So what are we looking for?"

"I don't hunt." Mossfire mewed simply, giving a smirk.
"Fat lotta use you are!" Switchingpaw exclaimed at the medicine cat, rolling over so he was laying down normally. It took all of a few seconds however for his attention to be redirected to Chasingkit. He eyed her mischeviously, waiting until Mossfire and Photoshoot set off to duck his head to hers. "Ever followed anybody before?" the sneaky apprentice whispered with a grin. Spying on Mossfire and Photoshoot would accomplish nothing productive, but it was good fun. Besides, he could teach Chasingkit all of his little tricks and things.

"Hi Cougarbite," he replied, plopping his butt down with a slouch and a yawn. Unlike his fellow apprentices who tended to be hostile sometimes, he was easy, friendly, and as his actions up to this point with his leader showed, very informal. He hadn't been appointed a mentor yet, apparently his future as a warrior was "undecided" or some nonsense. But it took no longer than a few seconds for the young tom's spine to stiffen straight and for him to jump at Mossfire's unexpected voice. He turned to look at the medicine cat, a crooked grin creeping its way onto his features. "You sly old fox, creeping up on your leader like that. Don't worry Cougarbite, I'll detain him!" With an air of superiority he leaped dutifully onto Mossfire's unsuspecting tail, pinning it to the ground. He knew Mossfire wasn't old, but for whatever reason he always felt at ease with the medicine cat. At ease enough to play a healthy game of pin-his-tail-cause-I-hope-it'll-****-him-off-cause-I'm-a-fearless-bastard.

Switchingpaw nimbly jumped onto the cactus, his tough pads not feeling the small prickers. Every true BloodClanner's paws were tough and hard, used to traversing the desert and built up from the hot ground. The tuxedo tom scanned the dry landscape and jumped off, twitching his whiskers in boredom. what to do, what to do?
